LIKINGS: ★★★★★At first I wasn't so sure of this as I picked it up. After few pages I was hook on, the world, the characters. Tbh I feel so strongly towards Ash and his gang, including Eiji. I could feel like I am being at New York myself. The story has very hard and rough themes, so beware. My heart got broken.
ARTIST: Asumiko Nakamura STATUS: ONGOING GENRES: Drama, High School, Slice of Life, LGBTQ+, SYNOPSIS: "The series follows the relationship between students Rihito Sajō and Hikaru Kusakabe, who meet while attending an all-boys high school." LIKINGS: ★★★★☆Doukyusei is like a hot tea or coco on a gloomy rainy day. It is soft-spoken, cozy and comfortable. Joyous to pick up time to time and re-read again. It is lovely to follow these two, and their journey.
ARTIST: Tatsuya Endo STATUS: ONGOING GENRES: Action, Slice of Life, Spy Comedy, Family SYNOPSIS: "The story follows Agent Twilight, an enigmatic spy who has to "build a family" to execute a mission, not realizing that his adopted daughter is a telepath, and the woman he agrees to marry is a skilled assassin." LIKINGS: ★★★★☆This serie was one of those I pushed as well, cause I wasn't so sure of the themes of the serie, wrong. I was so wrong. I have had plenty of fun with this while reading. I love the historical vibe of the setting, brings plenty of vibes of Germany. As well as plot-wise well written, and gosh the characters are so lovable! I've had plenty of laughs with this.
ARTIST: Kou Yoneda STATUS: ONGOING GENRES: Drama, Yakuza, LGTBQ+, Slowburn, +18 SYNOPSIS: "The series follows Yashiro, a young, high-ranking yakuza boss and president of a front corporation. He is assigned a new bodyguard, Chikara Doumeki, who discovers that his employer is a hypersexual masochist." LIKINGS: ★★★☆☆TBNF is very good serie, I was hopping on between three/fours. Tbh it's pretty good serie with complex characters, settings, and goals each of them has. It gets heavy, and dark, and it is pretty slow burn too. As you keep reading, you grow with the characters and their relationship. I should do re-reading soon as possible.
